City of Mission Viejo Recognizes WMOC Driver for Outstanding Service

MISSION VIEJO, Feb. 23, 2006 - The City of Mission Viejo today recognized Waste Management of Orange County (WMOC) residential driver Pedro Parra at its Mission Viejo Annual Breakfast Outlook 2006 at the Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club.
An employee of WMOC for 10 years who has worked in all lines of business, Pedro currently provides residential service to the City of Mission Viejo. Joining Pedro at the breakfast for the certificate presentation were his colleagues from WMOC and his family: wife, Maria; daughter, Natalie, 17, a junior at Chino High School; daughter, Jacqueline, 11, a sixth-grader at Alicia Cortez Elementary School in Chino; and son, Adrian, 8, a third-grader at Alicia Cortez Elementary. The family resides in Ontario.
“Pedro is a key example of the wonderful, hard-working employees we have in Orange County,” said Alberto Guardado, District Manager with Waste Management of Orange County. “His positive attitude and commitment to customer service make him highly deserving of this recognition.”
Presented by the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce, Mission Viejo Chamber, and the City of Mission Viejo, the Annual Breakfast Outlook celebrated the 40th anniversary of the City of Mission Viejo. Mayor Lance MacLean (pictured at right with the Parra family) provided the keynote address. Waste Management of Orange County is a member of the South Orange County Regional Chambers of Commerce and served as a Chairman Circle Sponsor of the event. |
